is the idea of Mr. Tumi Molekane who through his experience in
the music industry has recognized a potential for ownership of
ones own creative works and control over how they are exposed
to a potential market.

nature of this business requires certain duties to be
performed such as:
A&R…
the ‘Ears’ produces and nurtures new talent and
develops artists.
Sales…
Gets the record into the stores
Marketing…
will handle advertising, publicity, commissioning
album-cover artwork, videos, press kit, and in-store
merchandise.
Promotion…
will entail the sweet-talkers who flirt with Djs and get
your songs on the air.
Most
of these functions can and will be competently performed by
Mr. Molekane but for every record planned to be released Motif
Records will employ a project manager to oversee the smooth
